Therapy can be a lifeline when you are in a circle of anxiety. One minute you are free and capable, another you are miserable and unable to take control of your life. I am an integrative specialist offering different ways to assist my clients in getting to where they want to be, in case of anxiety – to become anxiety-free. I will assist you in understanding your anxiety and in processing your feelings around it. Avoiding anxiety-provoking situations actually increases anxiety. When we learn to face our anxiety, new neural pathways are created, brain chemistry is changed and you can free yourself from the anxious thoughts that have been in control for so long. Helping you understand the cycles you are going through, understanding panic attacks, creating a plan to stick to and discussing progress are all part of my treatment approach. We will use techniques such as affirmations, breathing, journaling, observing bodily sensations, creating positive rituals and confronting fears. You can also count on me for nutritional advice and help normalizing your sleep.
