‘You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.’ Martin Luther King Jr.
Counseling can be an overwhelming but empowering first step towards improving your mental health! I provide a safe, affirming space for children, adults and couples in which we can work together to identify and achieve your goals.
I currently hold a masters in social work from Fordham University and post-graduate certifications in canine-assisted interventions from University of Denver Institute for Human-Animal Connection.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I take a client-centered, strengths based approach to helping client’s identify areas in which they are struggling (and succeeding!) to help achieve treatment goals and live a happier, healthier life. I utilize several evidence based practices including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
I am passionate about supporting others and look forward to working with you!
