LCSW/Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor

‘You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.’ Martin Luther King Jr.

Counseling can be an overwhelming but empowering first step towards improving your mental health!  I provide a safe, affirming space for children, adults and couples in which we can work together to identify and achieve your goals.

I currently hold a masters in social work from Fordham University and post-graduate certifications in canine-assisted interventions from University of Denver Institute for Human-Animal Connection.

As a licensed clinical social worker and credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor, I take a client-centered, strengths based approach to helping client’s identify areas in which they are struggling (and succeeding!) to help achieve treatment goals and live a happier, healthier life.  I utilize several evidence based practices including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.

I am passionate about supporting others and look forward to working with you!

As a therapist, I believe there is no obstacle too great to overcome if you find the strength in yourself to reach out for support. I promise to help guide you through personal growth by structuring our sessions to fit your needs.
Picking the right therapist can help you, or a loved one, get on track to feeling better. I look forward to working together towards self-growth and healing as you take the first step towards improving your life!
