Taking the first step to start therapy and finding a therapist that you feel comfortable with can seem like a daunting process. I create a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment for you to discuss the challenges that you currently face.
By working collaboratively identifying your goals and the obstacles that have stood in the way of your happiness, we can develop a treatment plan that will help you feel better emotionally and bring about your desired changes. Having graduated with my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University in 2000, I have over 20 years of experience and expertise in a wide range of techniques including psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral interventions.
My areas of specialization include working with survivors of loss and trauma, adjustment and mental health issues, child and adolescent psychotherapy, depression, and anxiety. I offer a creative, individually tailored approach in a warm, nonjudgmental, collaborative setting.
I invite you to contact me to see if this is the right fit for you.
